My condolences to Joe Jr. and the rest of the family. I sold Little Debbie snacks to Joe and Joan back in the 80s and 90s and then to Joe Jr. when he took over the store. They were always great people to deal with and I have great memories of my dealings with them. May Joe Rest In Peace.

A PRAYER FROM THE DEPARTED

Gracious Lord,
Help them discover the comfort
Of family and friends,
As they remain behind,
Living their lives,
Toward their special purpose.
Let them console one another.
Hugs and kisses,
Drying eyes and holding hands.
Make them aware
Of the subtle hints of togetherness.
And as my spirit journeys on
Towards everlasting peace
And unconditional love,
Let them never doubt
The love Ive had
And have,
For all of them.

Fill their thoughts and minds
With happy memories
Of the life I lived among them.
No matter how long
No matter how brief
For reminiscing is the first step
To easing their sorrow.
As they recall their favorite stories
Encourage them to share
My life tales with one another.
Familiar stories
Stories never told before
Old childhood secrets
All will undoubtedly be revealed.
The remember when's
And
How about the time's
Are a great legacy.
The moments,
The days,
The years
Living among such great family,
And friends,
Was the treasure,
That was my life.

Finally,
Let them know
That I am safe,
And happy,
And at such peace.
Though I miss them dearly,
I am now in the gracious company
Of loved ones
Who have passed on before me.
Help them to understand
That I will never forget them
And that I shall never be far apart from them.
We are forever connected.
My passing is not Goodbye
Or Farewell
Or So Long
But Until We Meet Again
In this place where I have gone,
That they
Cannot yet go.

So,
Until then,
Take Care!
Be Good To One Another!
And If You Need Anything
Just Call.

All My Hopes...
To each and every member of my extended "work" family.
