Steve, I remember your kindness and your gentle spirit. You were a Mensch. Now, you are at last unbounded. Enjoy!

Steve, It is with the greatest sorrow that I read of your death. I do not know why we didn't keep in touch, although I suspect it was too painful for both of us. You were my Best Man, and best friend. May your spirit fly free now that it is separated from your mortal body. Soar to celestial heights, free from the earthly bond. You have my undying respect. John.

When Steve moved to the Independent House in Wilmerding he and I met and I became one of his first care takers. I remember his Blue eyes would dance with laughter when I would say or do things to make him laugh, His Perents were Gems. I cooked a Holiday dinner at his apt, and his Mom and Dad came..What fun we had !!WILL MISS HIS Ho HO HO at Christmas. Miss your e-mails Pal! May you Rest in the Arms of the Lord till me meet again.
