Mrs Ladner was a very special lady and friend. Always so kind and thoughtful. Even though she was not feeling well she would make the best of everyday, whether going out to breakfast, she was always positive, smiling, laughing and so loving, giving, and caring. I was honored to take care of her for a short time but she taught me to love & appreciate life and all family & friends!

From the first day I met her in 1971, and until the unexpected meeting we had just last week at Lowe's, (what a blessing that was!!!), Mary Ann was the most genuine, loving and kindhearted sister-in-law anyone could have in their life. She was incredibly easy to get along with. Never once, in the all of the many years of being a member of The Ladner Family, did we have any harsh words between us. Despite any health issues she had to bear, Mary Ann was always jovial, caring and thoughtful. Every time we were together, she would always ask how my family was doing. I will miss her unconditional love, her insightfulness and her words of wisdom. I'll always remember, with a smile in my heart, how she constantly spelled my name with a "C"instead of its "K", despite my father-in-law's best efforts of calling me "Kathy with a K" whenever the Ladner family was gathered together. It only made me love her more. She will always be remembered for her boundless love for her family, their pet dogs, and for the memory of her bright-eyed smile. With love and gratitude, God bless you, my dear Friend. OXOXO ❤
