"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem." I seem to always remember him saying that when I saw him at church. Unfortunately for me this day before Valentine's Day was the first time I heard that he had passed. The last thing that he said to me at Cedar Cliff Dollar General was that he looked forward to going with me to Baughman United Methodist Church on Saturday nights for their Saturday evening Services since it was right down the street from his home in New Cumberland. I haven't seen him since and I've been wondering why.

Mathew was a friendly, thoughtful, caring person with deep love for God, family and people. He had a passion for fishing that surpassed his dad's, who he frequently visited so they could go fishing. He also enjoyed playing dominoes scrabble and other board games with his dad. His visits will be missed.
Matthew, I am terribly saddened that you are gone, but rejoice in knowing that you are at peace in the arms of God.

I am so sad about this. I wish I would have been able to get to know him better. He was always so friendly and welcoming to me anytime I saw him. I hope I can learn how to be more like him. He was able to 'fit in' with any group of people.
