I first met Bud when we worked together back in the late 50s. We reconnected in 2014 and talked daily until just a few days before his passing. I so enjoyed his wit, his stories, the poems he wrote but most of all he was a kind, caring, gentleman. I miss him terribly.

My mother Mary Morningstar and him were great friends. We called him Uncle Bud. They would go dancing together at the Grove. He would always check in with me (Debbie) and my sister Linda to see how we were doing. I didn't hear from him lately tried to call but no response. I always here from him during the Holidays and when I didn't during this past Thanksgiving I wondered if something happened. To his family: I am sorry for you loss. Bud was a wonderful man and the obituary was right, there was never a time we talked he didn't have a joke. He was a soul that you could talk about anything and had a good response.I remember that plane and so does my son. He will be greatly missed. The Lord has him now and he is in great, glorious hands.
