My pap was a great and kind man. He was a substitute teacher at Oliver High School and was loved by many of the students, some of whom are personal friends. He never failed to make us laugh with his humor and he was always a very giving person with a lot of love in his heart. He will be missed. I love you pap.

On behalf of the Social Studies department at Brashear I want to offer our most sincere condolences. We are just heartbroken. We, along with the school's faculty, staff and especially our students, will miss Mr. D immeasurably. His vibrant personality, thoughtfulness and kind demeanor brightened our day. He was most certainly a beloved member of the Brashear family and he always will be.
