I feel so badly just finding out that Mr Mullen past away last year. I had the pleasure of delivering mail to the Mullens's home for 16 years. I always looked forward to talking to Mr Mullen and sharing his wit. Your parents were two of the nicest people, and I always enjoyed seeing them.

I worked for Mr. Mullen for over 10 years managing his Oakland McKee Place apartment building, and found him one of the most pleasant employers that I have ever known. I have always meant to write to him but have apparently waited a year too long. There is a lesson there for all of us. I grew to dislike Oakland but I have always missed Mr. Mullen and wish the very best for his wife and family.

Mrs. Mullen - much sympathy to you and your family. I enjoyed working for Mr. Mullen at Trifles and The Candy Tree. He was easy to be around.

Sometimes you are limited in the ways you get to know someone. I don't remember ever having the opportunity to shake Sid's hand, but we had weekly and monthly phone conversations. He was very humble, but he made a huge impact. I smile at the mere memory of conversations, and hope you always will do the same.
Mallory, Pamela and Ginsey... please know that I am thinking of you.
