BELJAN DONNA MARIE
56, of New Florence, passed away, October 22, 2013, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born October 9, 1957, in Pittsburgh. Preceded in death by father, Al Beljan. Survived by mother, Mary Lou Beljan, McCandless; life partner, Ken Chizmar; sisters, Debbie (Rich) Marusic and Diana (Tom) McCauley; nieces and nephews, Rich, Rebecca, Rachel, Sarah, Robbie, Justin, and Ryan; also survived by Ken's siblings, Helen Gorman, Tom Chizmar, and Denise Taylor. She will be remembered for her love of animals, the outdoors, her garden, and cross stitch. Friends received 4-8 p.m. Thursday at KENNETH A. STUART FUNERAL HOME, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 Washington St., Seward. Rev. Robert Washko officiating. Prayer Service 1:30 p.m. Friday at Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh (North Side Cemetery). Interment immediately following. I will always hear Donna's laugh and see her mischievous smile and how her eyes lit up as she talked to me about all the things she was doing to help herself be the best she could.
