Dear Pat, I was saddened to read of Tom's passing. It seems like yesterday he was laughing with me and David at Bob and Kathy's and later atvUpper St. Clair SD when I was covering the District. He was a fine man and a good friend. Our yhoughtdps and prayers are with you. Sincerely, Lori nHumphreys

Even though I did not go to Baldwin, I knew Tom through the Whitehall Country Club Pool. He was a kind person and took an active interest in my basketball playing at Keystone Oaks HS and later Davidson College. Tom was also nice to my parents anytime he met them. May God comfort your family with happy memories of Tom and give gifts of peace and strength.

Patricia - I was fortunate enough to have you both as teachers. I am a 1972 grad. I got to know Mr. Labanc fairly well through his work on 2 of the school plays in which my friend Larry Gray starred. I had much respect for both of you. This saddens me deeply. Pamela Martin Mcklveen class of 72.

I was so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. It only took one tour of the city with him to see that Tom was a special guy who truly loved Pittsburgh. I was lucky to meet him again at a local festival and had the pleasure of touring with him a second time in August...he showed a group of international students around town with kindness and enthusiasm. He will be missed.
