Warren, Bill and I knew your dad for many years after coming from Chicago to work for U.S.Steel in downtown Pittsburgh. We knew your mom and sisters and saw them grow up in Pleasant Hills when we lived in Elizabeth. After moving to Irwin we didn't see much of your dad but would give him a call to keep in touch. Bill and I are sorry for your loss but know that he is a better place.

Dear Carlson Family,

Even though it has been many years since our family has seen all of you, we have nice-fun memories of years ago.
Warren I was your "Den Mother" for two years. Your Dear Father ask me to take the Troop for half a year. I agreed with pleasure. Then the second half your Dad called and said "Doris, I can't get anyone else...ok Warren, I will finished the year with the boys. Then guess what happened the following year,,,yep, "your right!"
You boys were getting bored with carving creators out of soap, etc. So I loaded half the troop into my old Old's, your Dad and Mom the rest into your Station Wagon (I believe) and off we went to "Civic Arena" for quite a few "Penquin Games" in Mr. Bird's Private Box. You kids had a ball. What wonderful memories.
Your Father was a "very devoted Father and Scout Leader." And your Dear Mother was such a devoted Leader and Mother also. Both very lovely people and highly respected in our Pleasant Hills Community.
All of you are in our thoughts and Prayers during this difficult time.

Fondly,
Doris Bird ( formerly of Ben-Til Drive)

My dearest Mary,
I woke up feeling noticeably happier than usual.
Shortly thereafter I learned that you were in Heaven. You are my angel and I know that you will always look after me, my friend. Your love, faith and trust in our blessed Lord have been beacons of light for me. With love and appreciation, I will always remember you and hold you close in my heart.
