Barbara G. Hollandsworth, 77, of Powhatan, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 8, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul Hollandsworth; three children, Debbie Gasser (Danny), of Mechanicsville, Joy Flester (David), of White Stone, and Clay Hollandsworth (Michelle), of Lakewood, Colo.; one sister, Anna Moran, of Radford; four stepsisters and brothers; one half brother; and five grandchildren, Julie Kora (Jack Teng), Amanda, Megan Gasser, Brain Hollandsworth, and Paul Breedlove.
The family will receive friends tonight, Wednesday, October 9, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan, Va. Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013, in the May Memorial Baptist Church. Interment at Powhatan Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to May Memorial Baptist Church Youth Fund, ATTB Fund or ATTF Fund, P.O.Box 56 Powhatan, VA 23139.

Paul and family, We are so saddened to learn of Barbara's passing. She was a very special lady and I (Ann) have many fond memories of our telephone conversations when we were still in Richmond. Praying God will comfort you in your sorrow.
