Irma Mary Tretter Adams
Mrs. Irma Mary Tretter Adams of 127 Raintree Court died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Danville Regional Medical Center after a decline in health.
She was born on July 4, 1920 in Herrin, Il, a daughter of the late Joseph Tretter and Mary Magdalene Visentainer Tretter.
Mrs. Adams was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters; Elaine Taylor of Danville and Patricia Ann Sandifer of Columbia, SC. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Robert Michael Taylor, Julie Ann Taylor, Jon Paul Taylor, and Patrick Randolph Sandifer and five great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 26 at 10:00 A.M. from Saint Andrews Catholic Church in Murphysboro, IL with Father Gummersheimer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
A Prayer service will held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Townes Memorial Chapel with Father Charles Breindel officiating. The family will receive friends after the Prayer service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sacred Heart School, 540 Central Boulevard, Danville, VA 24541.
