Ishmel Tavon Wiltz entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 17, 2020. He was born on October 24, 1995 to Latangela Wiltz and Tavon Williams. He attended the public schools of New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Ishmel was very good in sports and was voted the Most Valuable Player in Football, Basketball and Baseball. Ishmel furthered his education by attending Vocational School. He worked for Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans and later for Galatoire's Restaurant. He is preceded in death his grandfather Quintin Brady. He leaves to cherish his memory, one sister and one brother Carlisia and Change Wiltz, his grandmother, Lorraine Wiltz, his aunts, Angela Dyer and Kenyana Wiltz, his first cousins, Sherrell and Terrell Dyer, Brian Stewart, Reeion and Johron Wiltz, his beloved friend, Jordan Miller and stepson, Riley Bursey, a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, July 31, 2020 beginning 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Rock Baptist Church, 9137 Edinburg Street, Pastor Bernard Dyer, officiating. Church visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. I love and miss you everyday. You were everything i wanted and such a great father figure to riley . You would have been the best daddy to Ishmel . And i will forever let your son know how much you love him . Every video and picture i have will be shared with our son . Your still hanging on my wall and in my wallet . I will never let your memory fade i love you more then words can describe. You will continue to have my heart for the rest of my life . We love you daddy .
