Not sure what to say?

James you will never be forgotten. Always in our hearts. So much you have given. Many many thank yous will never cover what you have given. Love you and NEVER forgotten.

David Cisco, First of all thanks for your service. I want to thank you for taking the time to write to us. James was a medic on a ambulance in Phoenix all through his college years which was 7 total years. The pain we still feel is the same as when we were notified. We are very grateful for everyone that served with him or helped him the day of the accident and continue to stay very close to those that served with him. May God bless each and every one of you.

Hello,

I am very sorry for the time it took to finally reach out, I found this page a couple years ago. I was an Army medic in Iraq in 2004. To the family of Spc. James J. Holmes:

As you may know, the Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel Foundation has honored your loved one at its Memorial Day Sunday worship service (each year in May) … since the time of your fallen hero's ultimate sacrifice. We will continue to pay tribute to our nation's veterans … lest we ever forget!

Now we would like to honor you … as the next-of-kin … who have also paid a great price on the altar of liberty. On Sunday 29 September...

James and Phil's boots...just found it on my facebook pictures.

Tim that is so funny. We have such great memories with James and his extender fork from camping.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Thank you to all that still remember our James. It means so much to his friends and family to know he will not be FORGOTTEN. Bless you all.
Rhonda Holmes (mother of James)

On this Memorial Day weekend it is easy to remeber James, because he was no different in the service of his country than he was at a job or as a friend. He gave the full measure of himself to whatever he did. I remeber cooking out with him one time and he made a fire so big you could not get close enough to roast your food, I told him the problem and said we will have to let the fire die down and he said negative and produced a expandable fork from his truck. It was like 3 feet long and he...
