HARKEY, Jerry Edward, 80, of Brandon, passed away February 13, 2013. Jerry was a proud Texan and a jet airplane mechanic for Eastern Airlines. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Harkey, in 1990; and his second wife, Jennie Lois Harkey, in 2011. Jerry was also preceded in death by his son, Garry Harkey, and daughter, Sandra Hutchinson. He is survived by his children, Nancy Petry, Lois Elaine Polk, and Stephen Rhodes; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends on Saturday February 16 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin immediately following visitation at 1:30 p.m. and will conclude with interment in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater. Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home 727-796-1992
