My mother and I remember our years camping with Jean in New Hampshire and then later sunning on the beaches of Daytona. We feel so fortunate to have had her in our lives. We always joked that Jean's life should be a movie. A more compassionate and thoughtful woman I did not know. I know my mother and I feel privileged to have known her. I am sorry that I have found out so late. The world just got a little darker.

Jean was the bright spot in my Friday's! She was an amazing individual, who always had a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She was incredibly intelligent and we shared many a conversation together; I think I learned something new every Friday from Jean! I got the opportunity to know Jean by her volunteer hours at the Visitor Information Center in Sequim, where she worked Friday afternoons. It was only a few months ago that I caught this amazing women standing on a ladder changing a light bulb at the VIC! After catching her in the act, I ran over to wrap my arms around her legs to be sure she didn't fall. She had no idea what the fuss was all about! She made an impression on everyone she met and was loved by many. I will miss her very much. My heart goes out to her daughter Susan and family. I just can't say enough about how special Jean was to us at the Chamber. She will be very missed. We loved your Mom, Susan, and she truly enjoyed her time meeting visitors to Sequim and making new friends at the VIC :)

Our family spent a beautiful week in May with Jean and Susan, it was certainly a dream come true for our family. We all feel the lose and wish we had more time to put the pieces together. The East Coast Family will never forget Jean. She will always be in our prayers. Love to all, especially Susan.
