Major Harris will be remembered as the man with the velvet voice who truly understood how to make the perfect love song. His music caused many people to turn on the blue light in the basement. Major lived a good life and left a legacy that his family, friends and fans with always remember.

I am sure you are in heaven sitting at the table with Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Johnnie Taylor, Donnie Hathaway, and Tyrone Davis talking about who had the best tenor voice. It is time to rest now brother. You will be missed but never forgotten.
