Stan Musial showed a nation how to hit and play baseball and how to be a outstanding man and role model. When the Braves left Milwaukee I became a Cardinals fan (and still am)largely because of Stan Musial; I cherish the memories of seeing him play at Milwaukee County Stadium in the late '50s and early '60s. His memory will live on in our mortal world. Some say that where The Man has gone now the field is always green, the sun is always shining, and there's a double header everyday. Imagine the other ballplayers already in heaven greeting him with his uniform, glove and bat. Rest in peace, Stan Musial, and thank you for showing us what competitiveness, class and dignity is all about.
