We always really enjoyed our bridge club times with Bill. He set a fine example of being a good sport! Our sympathy to the family, especially Carolyn, who was a classmate of our son Tom. Richard and Joan Smith

Bill was one of those memorable friends I was privileged to know for many years at work and play. He was a gentleman in everything he did. In retirement we played golf and bridge until his passing. He will be missed by very many people.

Bill was a real gentleman, a backyard neighbor, and a long time friend. He will be truly missed!

It's quite hard to come up with the words that can ease the pain of the grieving heart. Life is the greatest gift that GOD has given us. Death is only a bridge towards eternal life with GOD. Certainly, heaven is rejoicing, for another soul has finally reached his true home. Bill was certainly the greatest person with whom I had the pleasure to work in the Slabbing Mill office. Because of the type of person he was, I found it a joy to come in to work everyday. I know that he is missed; but, he is, indeed, in a better place -- united again with loved ones who went on before him.
