My sympathy to the family. Is Mr. Shanaman a descendent of John Gable Shanaman 1825-1879? I believe he may be distantly related to my son and grandchildren. John Gable Shanaman had changed his last name from Schueneman to Shanaman in the early 1800s. He is buried in Reading, PA, at Charles Evans Cemetery.

So sorry to hear about your father. He was a very special person and our neighbor throughout my childhood. He was the nicest person to know. Always liked his cigars..so so sorry to the family. Prayers and thoughts for the family..Monica LaMacchia

I remember staying "on the farm" for about na week when I was a little boy. Uncle Dave was already a young man the time. He was a realy nice Uncle. I will never forget the good times at the Shanaman family reunions.

I regret that I did not keep in touch more than I did. Uncle David has joined most od his brothers and sisters, but he had a grest life
