She was a former resident of Perkiomen Township. Mrs. Collier was born on August 22, 1928, in Norfolk, VA. and spent her early childhood in Galena, MD, before moving to Philadelphia, where she graduated high school. She was the only child of the late Richard and Elsie (Brockmeyer) Field. In addition to being a domestic homemaker, Mrs. Collier handled the administrative work for her late husband's business. She loved all animals, her dogs especially. Mrs. Collier is survived by her son, James E., husband of Linda L. (Butko) Collier, Trappe, and her granddaughters, Ashley R. Collier and Alyssa N. Collier. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, at the Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Main St., Trappe, with the Rev. Dr. Martha B. Kriebel, Pastor, Trinity Reformed United Church Of Christ, Collegeville, officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
