Senor Cocozza was a loving and devoted teacher. As a struggling student in math, he tutored me once a week and helped me regain my confidence in the subject for three years in middle school. I have loving memories of working with him; his patience, his humor and his passion for teaching was encouraging as a student. He was greatly venerated at Bala Cynwyd Middle School and is a beacon of a passionate, caring teacher. I am so sorry for your loss and pray that the sorrow will pass quickly. He will be sorely missed.

Señor Cocozza got me interested in Spanish and helped me excel at a subject at which I had never been successful before. I also remember that it was in his classroom that I first heard about the attacks on September 11, 2001. He was a steady presence on that day and on all others.

Joan and Christine, I am so sorry for your loss. Ray was such a wonderful person. He was our family friend from way back in the 1970's in South Philadelphia. May he rest in peace.
