ROSE M. GOMERY, 72, OF ROYERSFORD Rose M. (Tredice) Gomery passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center in Pottstown, PA. She was 72. Mrs. Gomery was a resident of Royersford, PA and was formerly of Swedeland, PA. She worked in customer service for Royal Bank. Rose was a graduate of the former Bishop Kenrick High School. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Royersford, PA and a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA, where she was the May Queen in 1957. Rose enjoyed cooking, ceramics, crocheting and the Phillies. Her favorite thing was spending time with her family. Born in Norristown, PA on March 22, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Frangiosa) Tredice. She was the wife of the late Thomas H. Gomery, who died in 2000. Surviving is her loving family including three daughters: Lisa Mooney of King Manor, PA, Karen Kern and her husband, Scott, of Royersford, PA and Kathleen Maser and her husband, Dan, of Oaks, PA; four grandchildren: Joseph Gomery, Andrew Mooney, Danielle Maser and Anthony Maser; a sister, Ann Danner; six nephews and three nieces. She was preceded in death by brother, Anthony Tredice, and a sister, Philomena "Minnie" Olshefski. Relatives & friends are invited to Rose's Funeral Mass at St. Augustine R.C. Church, 464 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 10 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. James A. Lyons, Pastor. Her viewings are Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm, at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA; also Monday morning from 9 to 9:50 a.m., at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rose's memory to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Rd., Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. www.bacchifuneralhome.com

Karen, Scott, Cathy, Lisa & family, Your mom was a beautiful person inside & out. I was so fortunate to get to know Rose & your family in the last few years. Every day that I worked I made a point to visit your mom ,she always made me smile. She was such a caring & generous woman, she was family to me & she will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to all of her family. She was a long lost friend and my high school buddy. I met her at the bus stop by the train station, in Norristown on our first day of high school. I will always remember her and her smile. We had a lot of fun times together. May she rest in peace. Love you Rose.
