Rip Bruce my prayers are with your family I'll never forget our great times at ch. Way to young to leave us brother you will never be forgotten.
It is with great sadness that I hear of the passing of my co-worker and friend Bruce. We came up through the lineman's ranks and even though he spent most of his career up north in Poughkeepsie and Catskill and I in Newburgh and Fishkill we always enjoyed each others company with plenty of laughs and fun stories of our lineman's work, sports and family. When Bruce first made Working Foreman about 15 years ago he had to travel to Newburgh and I requested to be on his crew knowing I would be able to assist him in his new surroundings but also for my benefit I knew it was going to be a lot of fun for me.We worked hard and laughed hard all day. I have great memories of those times. It always brings a smile to my face. He and I will never forget the 3 weeks we spent in the BIG ice storm in Clayton N.Y. We made the best of it. I will always remember his laugh, love of sports, the outdoors and most of all the love of his family. He was and always be , a good man. Sincerely, Gary McCarthy
