Prentis was a great example for many young black journalist who entered the field. Young journalist continue to let Prentis and his work to be an example, continue to fight the struggles, to not fall to public and staff pressures, to practice good and fair journalism.

Most days when I read the AJC,
It's Terrance & Prentis in that order. I Love T Moore. In my mind I tried to compare their opionns, but
it was Prentis that would calm me down from from Mr.T. Even though there was no competition between them, In my mind they competed for
my attention. With me being fifty,I feel he had much more to give.
I WILL MISS MR PRENTIS RODGERS.

May God Bless the Rogers Family in their time of sadness.

I see your face smiling at me everyday, I also hear you laughing, talking, and just being Prentis hanging out with the family. We miss you more today than we did yesterday. With each day there is something else that we miss...just you Prentis...just you. But in your earthly time, you taught us how to live, love and enjoy family and friends. Some of us come here to stay for a long, long time, others, like yourself, are God's angels just passing through to do the greatest good in a short period of time. You were the angel that swept our lives, touched our souls, and made light when there was darkness. Your legacy lives on in all of us, especially, in Yvonne, DeVere and Mrs. Rogers. Thanks for spreading your wings Prentis, your sister-in-law.
