Kisacky, Albert G.
Binghamton: Albert G. Kisacky, 86, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 15, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Anna Kisacky; his brother, John Kisacky, Jr.; and his brother-in-law, Paul Hill. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ann Kisacky; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Chris Kisacky; two grandchildren who were the pride and joy of his life, Matthew and Stephanie Kisacky; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Andy and Joyce Kisacky, Edward (Johnnie Vaughn) Kisacky, Penny Kisacky; two sisters, Evelyn Hess and Barbara Hill; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church, Binghamton, and a retired 43 year employee of NYSEG where he was the superintendent of transportation. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving in the Asiatic Pacific and American Theatres on the USS Endicott and the USS Surfbird during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion and a plank member of the Sampson Navy Memorial Museum and many other veteran service groups. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:00 a.m. at the Ascension Lutheran Church, 324 Clinton St., Binghamton, NY. Burial will follow in Ascension Lutheran Slovak Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott, NY on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.

As you know, Al was a very special guy. I have many fond memories of him at NYSEG. My condolences to all his family on his loss.

I had to pleasure of working with Al at NYSEG. He always had that smile on his face and a kind word. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers. Al was a great man and will be missed.

Annie, I just wanted to add a note of my own. You know how I've felt about you and Al ever since I came into the family, so I don't need words to express that. I just wanted to add that all the good times we had on our trips to "Lost Wages" are great memories to cherish.

Ann - My sincere sympathy to you and your family. Al was one of the good guys. He always had a warm greeting and a smile. He'd tease a little now and then but always in good fun. I'm sure you have so many good memories of him to help you through this sad time. It was a pleasure working with Al and getting to know him.
