Hudzinski, Althea E.

Althea E. Hudzinski Born Octobert 29, 1925 in Dupont, PA passed away on March 20, 2015. Born to Stanley and Martha Szumski, Predeceased by her loving husband Edward in 1975 and daughter Althea M. in 1998. Also by 4 brothers Stanley, Steve, Chester, Fr. Connie and 5 sisters Angela, Agnes, Julia, Sophia, and Martha. She is survived by 11 children Lucretia, Dionetta, Lugene, Ronald (Hud), Linette (Leatso), Placede (Blue), Martha, Connie (McConnell), Thomasita (Carlson), Naomi (Piraino), and Julianne. She was Babci to 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Mary's in Kirkwood where she cooked for the Harvest Supper, and funeral meals. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She went to school for her LPN after her children were in school full time; and worked at Lourdes Hospital. The Family would like to thank Delores Snyder who was her caregiver when we couldn't be with her. And also Emeritus at Woodland Place for their loving care of her. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24th from 4 to 7pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday at St. Mary's Church in Kirkwood. Burial will in Calvary Cemetery. Donations can be made in Althea's name to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
