Clark, Fred
Johnson City: 94, passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 at the Susquehanna Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He was met at the Gates of Heaven by his parents Judson and Emma Clark whom he loved very dearly. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley, of 40 treasured years, the love of his life for ever and ever. He always told her "You'll never know how much." He was the father of Corky Clark and Judy Price and many loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His sister, Vera Gardner, who also died on Sept. 30th, joined hands with him at Heaven's Gate. He was an Air Force veteran serving in World War II and worked for General Electric for many years. He enjoyed participating in the many activities at the nursing home with his wife and loved doing Jumble puzzles with Dorothy Bors. A special thanks to the staff at Susquehanna Nursing home for all their care. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at the Maine Federated Church, 2615 Main St, Maine, NY. The family will receive friends at the Maine Federated Church from 9:30 am until the time of services. Arrangements are by the Barber Memorial Home, Inc.

It has been 40 years since I have seen your dad, Corky. Vivid still in my mind is how he never minded folks invading his house day after day. Perhaps it doesn't seem like much to many, but it was certainly noteworthy to me.
