We were classmates at UE schools from the time we were boys. Those were the days of war, uncertainty, disruptions, patriotism, yet we talked about a great new world ahead of us. Greg was a insightful person, very bright, funny, and I learned a lot from him (it took us about 25 minutes to walk to school so we had a lot of time to ponder, talk and laugh). We lost track of each other after UE. I was saddened to learn of his passing. He was a big part of my childhood. I only wish I knew he was as close as Syracuse. My sincere condolences to his family.
