I worked with Charlie at IBM Endicott and have fond memories of a wonderful, happy, and respectful gentleman. He was a pleasure to work with and to know him. He loved his family and life. It was evident daily. May he be a special guardian angel to those he loved and who loved him. Peace and God's comfort to the Abdallah family.
Candee, Caroline and Joe
Uncle charlie was nicknames "Cheap charlie" but he was never that but only as he lived to be Jack Benny. He was the most generous person I ever knew and I owe him a lot. He inspired my love of sports and especially the Yankees and NY Giants. I always loved to hear his infectious laughter and his antics.... like where did the Japanese rifle come from and how did Charlie get it; What happened to my quarter on the golf green replaced by a nickel with his fingerprints on the old buffalo; did Aunt Jackie really get a "Get Well Card" if she did not shop at the mall once a week? He was the never ending source of humor for the family and friends. But what he did every day for the family was the greatest - he was a man for the ages and I'll never forget him and always hope to live up to his integrity and character! I love you Charlie even though we rarely agreed on politics... it was the Family and Yankees that kept the glue of our love and care. I also feel blessed that my oldest daughter, Lorene shared your birthday and she always felt a special bond since she kicked you in the shins as a little girl.
Love you Charlie - Give our best to the family who you join in heaven!

I worked for Charlie at IBM during the summer of 1978 and he was the friendliest person I've ever met. He had a heart of gold and a personality to match. If there was ever proof that humor enriches our lives and makes us live longer, Charlie was it. Heaven is a better place now.
