Don was a great guy and will be missed.
We always enjoyed Don's company when we visited mom in Castle Creek! I enjoyed dining out with him at No 5 and Cortese. He will be missed but we will see him again one day!
Dear Sue & Dave
Our Deepest Sympathy to you and your family. Your memories will keep him close to your hearts.

I remember Mr. Knapp as the father of my best friend, Kathie. He and his wife welcomed me into their home and lives. I have many happy memories of their kindness. Mr. Knapp was always cheerful and full of energy! My heart is full of sadness for Susie, Lindsay, Kimberly, and their families. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Don was a very special person to Cindy's Mom and to Cindy, me, and our extended family. His home going is sad, but he is now in his heavenly home and rejoicing with the saints that have gone on before. We will miss him!!
Sue and family, please know you have our deepest sympathies. And Sue, please take time to reflect and complement yourself for everything you did for your dad over the years, allowing him to live his life the way he wanted, and being there, when needed, to point him in the right direction.
Don will be sadly missed, he was a truly remarkable man. I will miss him dearly. He was a great man and he knew how to keep a smile on someone's face. My condolescences goes out to your family. My thoughts and prayers to the family of Don's.
I am so sorry to hear about your dad...I remember when he would bring you things to the office and he would brighten up our day with his bright spirit and cheer smile...especially when you would bring in goodies...He was a dear man...my prayers are to you and your family.
Sue...Please know that my thoughts are with you. You have endured too many losses. Your mom and dad were our best friends. Please know they will always be in my heart.
Don was a very special member of our family. He was a wonderful example of a servant to all who knew him. We will always cherish our memories with him and are so thankful for the love and care he showed to Mom and our family. We rejoice that he is now in heaven with his Lord.

Don was part of our church family at FBCC. He sat halfway back on right side of the center aisle. He was sort of part of the sound system. When he couldn't hear the speaker, he would shout, "Speak up, we can't hear you!"
Indeed he was a servant, besides Meals on Wheels, he picked up day-old bread and rolls and brought them to the church every week. Don is where all believers long to be, present with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The staff and volunteers of Meals on Wheels of Western Broome appreciate the contribution that Don made as a volunteer. In addition to delivering meals he also collected donated Freihofer baked goods to be distributed to clients. He was indeed a cheerful and friendly face to those he delivered to and had many friends among his fellow volunteers. He has been missed here at Meals on Wheels. We will add his name to the Memorial Plaque in our volunteer room. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time of loss.
