Aunt Terry and family, Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all. I know Eileen has many fond memories of Uncle George while growing up in Endicott. I'll never forget stopping at the fruit stand on our way to the airport years ago. Uncle George insisted on giving us a huge bag of apples to take back to Tucson. Our boys too...there wasn't a time that he didn't reach into his pocket and give them a hand full of coins! Glad we got to see him last year. He will truly be missed. God bless.
We love you Uncle George and you will be missed, but I will always hold on to all the wonderful memories!!!
Thank you for sharing your memories of "Chicken George" with us while at Phil's Chickenhouse! Although we never had the honor of meeting him, your fond memories of him from the first day you met until his death tell of his love for the Lord, you and his community. Lord bless you and your family. Rich and Seanne McPherson
Fond memories of George. He used to come in a restaurant I worked in and instead of leaving a tip he always left me tomatoes, carrots, strawberries etc. Was a wonderfully warm person. Was a friend to all, may he rest in peace. My prayers go out to the family.
So sorry for your loss. May your happiest memories comfort you through your sorrow!

To Terry and Family..we share in your loss to one of Endicott's most recognizable and all around good guy.Always a great converstioinalist and I go way way back to when My Mom and I and whoever else would walk to the Avenue and always stopped on the way home for some fruit or vegetables even though my Dad had a garden.I remember the apples were always for the apple pie soon to be made.Rest in Peace.
We're so sorry for your loss. George was such a fun and kind person, a pleasure to be around. He is fondly remembered and will be missed.
Terry and family,
My condolences. "Chicken George" always made me smile.
