Mike, Eileen, John, Maureen and the entire Fitzgerald family:
Your Dad/Pop was a man so beloved by all of you and by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. What a blessing and joy it has been to know Jim Fitzgerald and witness the impact he had on all your lives. Be assured of our prayers and support during this time of grief. His goodness lives on in all of you. We love you!
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Mike, John and family,
Your dad was a kind and gentle soul.. He always had an uplifting spirit and a light in his eye that said he was happy to see you, and he really was! From the time I was 13 he always greeted me was 'how are you 'Stevie-boy'. Later in life that was followed by 'can I get you a cold beer?'. He and your Mom were a great couple and example of what marriage should be - a partnership. I've been gone for a long time, but have the fondest memories of Orton and Lathrop Ave. 'Mr. Fitz' was the best - wonderful guy. God bless your dad and your families.
"Fitzie" was a fine gentleman and will be missed by me, and all who knew him.
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. No need to pray for Jim now....now we pray to him that he will intercede for us at the throne of God that one day we shall see him again and enjoy his great friendship....Till we meet again friend....Peace!
