Walsh, James Francis
JF/Frank Walsh slept away to be with his Lord March 3, 2014. He was born March 27, 1919 and the oldest child of Joseph and Elizabeth (Bahl) Walsh of Dushore, PA. He was married to his beloved wife Eileen (Dowling) Walsh for fifty-nine years at the time of her death in April of 2010. Preceded in death by his brothers Cyril and Edward, he is survived by his sister Kathleen (Walsh) Egan of Binghamton, NY, his son Michael (JoAnn), grandchildren Kate (Chris Griffin), Kelly (Jeff Botta), Daniel and Brian as well as great grandchildren Reyah, Samuel and Michael Griffin. Frank was an avid hunter, golfer, handyman and outdoors man. He lost an Air Force commission due to a severe eye injury and served in the Navy during WWII on a destroyer in the North Atlantic. He was an executive with General Adjustment Bureau and former owner of A.H. Neaman Company public insurance adjusters. Member of St. Margaret Mary and a former senior club champ at Montour Heights CC. He was an insatiable reader and learner who never met a stranger. Visitation Saturday from 10 AM until time of service at 12 PM at Copeland's Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. Entombment in Resurrection Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, he and his family suggest you contribute to a charity of your choice.

I had the pleasure of meeting your Dad at Hess Physical Therapy. He was kind and always gave me words of encouragement when doing my exercises. I will miss seeing him. May God help your family during this sad time.
