I cannot extend the sadness that this news brings to our family. Pete worked with Jason several times and my boys were lucky enough to hear Pete's many stories, jokes and tall tales. His tough-guy persona was always fun to try and break through - and I usually could. Many hours were spent standing around laughing and enjoying each others company. A good man was lost to us today but his memory will go on forever. Thoughts and love to Pete's loved ones.

To Pete's family
I am sorry for your loss of Pete
I wish we had kept in touch after I left NY. I remember Pete helping me out on many construction jobs and the stories Pete would tell.

Good old Pete-his persona was to appear rough and tough but he really was a kind and fair man. He was skillful with his equipment and helped us many times with his backhoe and dozer plus he watched over our property. Deer hunting was another occaision to get together.I hunted with Pete both on the ground and at times in the cab of his backhoe. After a hunt he would join us(myself, son karl and his buddy,Chuck) to sip some brandy and swap stories(he had a million of them)-it was great! Pete was a real friend and he will always be thought and remembered this way .
