It is with deepest sorrow that I am just now learning of "Uncle Mar's" passing. Oh how this man made a difference in my life and the lives of so many others. My heart is so sad with this news and yet overflowing with memories that are unfaded with time. Thank you for sharing this man and all his glory!! I will cherish all I learned. Sign your heart out as you sour with the Angels. DK

I was lucky enough to live across the street from Mr Cerroni when I was a child. Even at that age I recognized a brilliant musician when I saw one. On summer evenings he would play piano for the entire neighborhood. What a gift he had. Best wishes and condolences to the family.

Thankyou Mr. Cerroni for all the memories.I always looked forward to music class and chorus at Maine Memorial school. The guitar lessons at your home were great. Your passion and love of music has been with me always.

I will never forget the Monday night Madrigal rehearsals at his house. Afterwards, he and I would play 4 handed Mozart duets on his baby grand piano. I thought that was as good as life could ever get. My Father thought the rehearsal was over at 10:00, when it actually ended much earlier, but Mario and I would always play well into the evening. He gave me the gift I have been able to impart to my own students. He taught me to love music, love children and strive to be the best I can be. I have always held him deep in my heart and feel blessed that he touched my life. My prayers are for his family at this difficult time, but I hope that you all take some comfort in knowing that he was such an amazing teacher, musician and person, who left lasting legacies in all he touched. He will live forever in my heart and my teaching. Rene' Tedesco-Schmidt

RIP Uncle Mario. I remember the family times with him playing music for us all. He was such a nice man. I remember the little "blinky" robot he made. As a young boy I thought that was the coolest thing and was so fascinated by it. He saw how much joy it brought me so he gave it to me. my thoughts are with the rest of our family.
