Thank you to everyone for your prayers thoughts and love. We have been so blessed and lucky to have such amazing friends and family in my life, and I'm so thankful for each and every one of you.
I am most blessed and lucky to have known such an amazing beautiful caring man, and truly proud that I called you "Dad". You taught me everything - how to talk, how to walk. You were my first love, my first kiss, my first hero.
I thought you were invincible- and you stayed so very strong right up until we said goodbye...I still think you are, and it makes this goodbye the hardest to believe and the hardest to accept.
Even when you couldn't remember my name you always seemed to know when I needed a hug, or a kiss or even a smile. Tuesday when I had prayed to have anything - just a sign to know you could hear me, and selfishly for one last smile, kiss or hug, and to hear your voice one last time..I saw how labored each breath had become - but you still opened your eyes, saw me and gave me not one of these but all of these.
You are the most selfless sweet person I will ever know, and I want to thank you for showing me what it is to love like that - in a way that endures anything. I know you'll still be with me always and until I see you again I promise to always remember what you've taught me, and to live in a way that would make you proud...
