Hard to believe she is gone...they say the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long. And Christine's light was very bright. I am so sad to hear of this

I am smiling now to read these entries, and she was ALL of our best friend! :)

Oh I am so sad to hear that you're gone Chris. Chris and I were best friends in 6th-8th grade in Florissant MO. We were inseparable. I am funny about remembering dates, but I remember she moved away Feb 12 of our 8th grade year to GA. We visited each other back and forth in the summer. If any of her relatives read this, please contact me on facebook, Dawn Richards Marquart. Chris was funny and beautiful and this just breaks my heart to see. Picture added is from 1999 when she came to St. Louis with her mom and I visited her at the hotel she was staying at. She told me I was the best friend she ever had... she and I were so close. I will always, always remember and love you Chris!

Christine, when you moved to Ft.Gordon, GA., You became my little sister Barbara's Best friend. You also were like a little sister to me and another daughter to my Mother. Your Mom or brothers never had to look far as you were always tied at the hip with Barb at our house, at TeenTown, the Officer's pool, riding the Posts' bus to Mirror Lake,
Gordon Mall and getting rides from Mom or me to all of the Rock Band concerts we could get our parents to fund! Christine, I don't know how you died, but for all the Rockin' Fun times in our Best Teen years, I hope GOD was gentle as HE could be when HE took you HOME. I will always remember you Christine!

Christine, while I am very late in posting this, my ex-husband (Doug Mercer) and I worked with you in the 80's at AEGON. You were an incredible human being, full of joy and laughter. I am certain you are missed by many! Please rest in peace.
