Frank was, and still is, a tether in my heart, a symbol of honesty and trust. A truly special person. A rock in his community and a symbol of what it is to be a husband and father and friend.

I love and miss you all so much and uncle frank the time I spent with you while I stayed on star for that summer was exactly what I needed.I came to the ranch lost, carrying heartache and what felt like the weight of the world. I found peace there that summer, and I was able to work through alot of those emotions and spending the summer there reinstated my faith in the world and in myself. I never told told you how much I enjoyed just sitting in the garden with you. Most the time with little or no conversation. The comfort I found in your silence was exactly what I needed and I appreciate you for letting me just.........be.and for making me feel ok and safe. I will miss laughing with you and I will miss The comfort of your strong and loving silence. Love you uncle frank!!!!

My first partner in life, I was a 15 year old commune child and Frank at 20 was a protective affectionate boyfriend and father to our son JayHawk Holton, born in October 1971~This son is now a father himself, to Frank's grandsons Nathan Bailey Holton and Thomas Strain Holton~ Frank is a hero to hundreds of West Sonoma County residents who found a warm generous soul always ready to alleviate any problems he encountered~ We miss you Frankie~

I will miss my big brother, as the baby of the family Frank always watched out for me. Took me on dates with him and his girl at the time. I think the one story about Frank that really told what kind of person he would be is the one from when I was born. Right before I was born I guess my 3 brothers were raiseing hell in the house and my mother yelled "if this next one is a boy Im going to throw it off the Golden Gate Bridge" well I was born and they got word to Franks school that he had a new baby brother, he started crying and they didnt know why, they couldn't get him to stop long enough to tell what was wrong, finally he told them "my mom is going to throw him off the Golden Gate Bridge" That was Frank, Miss you Bro
