I dont' know what to say… I happened upon this tragic news tonight and feel so sad. I'm crying as I type this … Matt and I student taught together at HSU. He was a wonderful person, good friend, and I treasure the memories we shared together. I am truly heartbroken to hear of this news.
matt you were a part of my life in which we celebrated our youth and launched our lives into adulthood, thanks for being there with me and all of us i will always honor you ska boy gods speed and one day we see each other have fun in heaven god bless your pal adrian
I met Matt when he started teaching at Piner Elementary School. He was always enthusiastic and very caring. The kids really loved him. He will be missed by more people than you know. Sarah and Mr. and Mrs. Sokol, you have my deepest sympathy at this great loss. I will keep you all in my prayers for God's comfort, strength, and peace.
Rest in Peace Matt. In was a pleasure knowing you. My heart goes out to your wife, family and endless friends. You obviously touched many hearts while you were here.
My deepest sympathies to Matt's family and new bride. I wish I was able to be at the memorial to honor him tomorrow. He was such a cool guy and will be missed in this world.
