Skippy, I miss bringing Meryl to Lakeshore in Oakland. Meryl looked forward so much to riding around Oakland with you.Yes, you were still driving at age 92. Meryl was 90 and you still had things to talk about. Amazing brothers. I miss both of you so much. See you in Heaven. Keep the door open. I love you.

As the Volunteer Director at the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center, I had the great privelege of working with Skippy Baxter who volunteered here at the Museum on Fridays after teaching lessons all morning. He'd come and serve in Sparky's Studio all afternoon and never got tired of telling his stories and warmly greeting our visitors. He and I shared early December Birthdays (his the 6th, mine the 8th) and he always had a smile, a hug and a kiss for me when we'd meet at the Warm Puppy Cafe! What a sweetheart!

I learned to ice skate thanks to Skippy, and have many fond memories of his back flips, the hokey pokey, and hanging out at the arena. He will be missed by many. Thinking of you Debbie and Dave.
Love,
Conci
