Norwick family,
My deepest sympathies. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for having known Steve.
I met Steve when he called me one morning. He was viewing tektite collections in Texas and he asked to come and view mine. We met, looked at tektites and talked for a couple of hours- it was as if we were old friends.
I would see him again twice in California. One trip with my family to Healdsburg to collect strange glass and another to vacation in the city.
In both instances Steve took a large part of his day to tour us around and give us profound insight into things we might come across on our travels. Few could match his in-depth understanding of the nature and history of what we would encounter and combine it with his warm and sincere gentle nature. Thank you Steve for being my friend.
