Dear Judy and Randy,
I am truly sorry for your loss. My sons are about Walden's age and my younger son became a Navy SEAL and loves every kind of adventure racing.
My condolences.

I met Walden several years ago when we both volunteered for the annual SIGGRAPH conference, over several summers. He was a great guy with an infectious personality, and great fun to hang out with. Even though we lost touch over the years, I have always remembered him with great fondness. He was the type of guy that could leave a permanent impression on your heart. He will be sorely missed.

I worked with Walden the past eight years at Jack Neal & Son. Walden was the guy we all went to when we had computer issues. Always professional, pleasant and very composed; he was an excellent problem solver. He was the kind of person that would answer your question, but he never made you feel dumb and usually the conversation ended with a chuckle. It truly was a pleasure working with him.
