My wife told me about a shipmate of my brother Keiths, who approached her about his passing today. The things they said about Keith were touching and brought tears to my eyes, as I have now writing this. It still is unreal that he is gone...but once again, wow, did people love and as important, like him. I said it before and iI will repeat it, I just hope half as many people speak about me that way, heck Id take 1/3. They say you dont get over a loved ones passing , you just figure out how to live with it. Well I hope so cause I still havent reached the figuring out how to live with it stage. I miss my brother.Love you Keith.

I was sorry to hear over this past weekend that Keith had “Crossed The Bar” his family should be proud of all his accomplishments - specifically his “Honor, Respect and Devotion to Duty”.

I am truly sorry and will keep Keith in my daily thoughts, adding him to my short list of outstanding individuals I had the pleasure to serve with.

Sunset and evening star
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar
When I put out to sea

But such a tide as moving seems asleep
Too full for sound and foam
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home

Twilight and evening bell
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell
When I embark;

For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar

Keith was my partner in Manatee county public safety. One of the finest EMTs I had the pleasure to work with When we worked he made life easy I never had to worry about what was next he was there with what ever I needed as a medic. We shared tough calls together and by the end of the shift all was good. He will be missed by all he touched his leaving leaves a hole in most hearts he could make any one feel good about their self.

I had the BEST dad for 31 years, he loved me more then anyone else in my entire life. He cared about my every need and worried about me every minute of his life. I am the most fortunate woman in the world to have had a dad that is a true hero. My heart still aches and my eyes still tear up because you are gone. But I will remain strong and continue to make you proud Dad. Forever your little girl-(and pain the butt) Shell

Keith, I'm sorry it took me so long to do this, but it's certainly not because you haven't been in my thoughts. Thank you for always making a tense situation funny...and sometimes for making a funny situation tense...which later became funny! :) Thank you for opening your door so many times to so many people, me included. On top of that, you have literally made my life do a "180!" Had it not been for you, I wouldn't be in the CG, I wouldn't have been/be in Cape May, and I wouldn't have met so many wonderful people. Had it not been for you, I wouldn't feel what it is to be a part of something bigger than myself (sounds cliché, I know...but it's true!). You have changed my life...for the better! You are so missed...for more than just for changing my life, but also for being a great brother-in-law, brother, father, friend, nephew, uncle, son, grandson, husband, and shipmate to so many...you are missed far and wide...love you. ~Dawn
