George was such a joy and fifty plus year I've known him, I cannot remember him without a smile. Being first cousin to my husband, but more like brothers, they reminded me so much of each other. Their love of boxing specifically, Muhammed Ali; all kinds of music, they loved family and wherever they are they were the life of the party...memories go far back and deep...but paused to let the family know that George Brown's departure created a void in Hopewell that transcends across several generations. We will truly miss him. Know that we are praying that God will give you the peace needed and that you will somehow find joy in knowing that through all that he encountered on this journey called life...he made it home. Love you family!
