I just found out and was shocked and saddened to learn about Elizabeth and Barbara. I was Elizabeth's college roommate and have fond memories of her and her mother, Barbara. I remember Barbara's kind and generous nature-I love bread and she would bring fresh baguettes when she visited. My deepest condolences to their family.
I just learned today of Barbara's passing. I had worked with Barbara and had been away from my work for almost a year and was shocked to learn today when I returned to my job. I am so sorry that she no longer with us. She was a wonderful person and such a joy to talk with. She was so real and so much fun!! Rest In Peace Dear Barbara until we met again!! Love and Prayers to her family and friends and to Barbara!!!!
Barbara, I'm still finding it hard to get my head around this. Memories flood my mind of when you first moved to VA and we met at church. CARITAS, Sunday brunches, walking with others as illnesses claimed them, talking, talking, and then talking some more. You always gave me fuel for new thoughts, new opinions, and the gumption to stand my ground. I'm sorry I didn't keep in touch, but I thought there was time. I'm very glad that I was privileged to have met you.
Barbara, you touched so many people during your life, but it was your ability to put people at ease that I most remember, ans you demonstrated that many times working with the citizens of Chesterfield County on neighborhood land use plans. God bless you, and nay you and Elizabeth find the peace you so greatly deserve.
Barbara, you touched so many lives during your life, but what I remember best is the warmth and compassion you always showed County citizens while working on neighborhood land use plans. You put people at ease and that is a wonderful quality to have. You are missed. God bless you and Elizabeth and I hope you both find the peace you so greatly deserve.
God bless you, Barbara. You are in my prayers.
My heart goes out to the family during this difficult loss.
In lovinf memory of a wonderful person. May God bless you and your family at this time of sorrow.

Barbara was a mentor to all of us in the Planning field and more important, a good leader and facilitator in the building of a very strong community in which for us to live, learn and to be successful in life. Condolences to the family for her loss and that of her own daughter, as they will be missed by us and by her Matoaca neighbors.
May God bless this family. I dont know you, but May God rest your soul Barbara. My Condolences to all of you.
