RIP Blue, I remember you as a gentleman car owner that fielded great race cars for Mel Bradley and Bill Dennis.

Dearest Doug: Our thoughts & prayers are with you & your family during this challenging time. We never met your Dad, but feel a bit of kinship. Don's Father and Granddad were both auto-mechanics, so spent their lives tooling around cars in western PA. And Faye's Grandfather was an IBEW electrician in upstate NY. In love & light, Faye Bradwick & Don Lancaster (Indiana PA)

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time of loss. I hope your family will find comfort in knowing your father gave so much to the men he gave the opportunity to drive his racecar. I was very sad to hear of Blue's passing. I have many fond memories of our weekend road trips to Manassas, South Boston and Langley Field Speedway. Sometimes on Sundays I can still smell that KFC bucket of chicken setting in my lap all the way to Langley. How we all fit in that car is still a puzzle to me. Most of my fondest memories of my dad's racing career was when he drove the 33. I hope your hearts will be filled with wonderful memories of his life to help ease your loss.
