I always have known Mary as "Sister" and thats just what we called her. I knew two things about her 1. She Loved the Lord and 2. She ran a business. She was the type of woman who wasnt afraid to sow a $1,000 seed into a ministry. I remember it really hitting me when I saw she was this level woman of God. It doesnt suprise me now that I have read her obituary why she was so prosperous and blessed in an all around way. Enjoy an Eternity of being respected, honored and cherished by God Almighty. I can say I truly Love you now that I know your testimony. I did love you before this as well. You really put in work on earth! Congratulations!

To the family of Mary Wyche: May God's grace and goodness sustain the family during this time. We are praying for you, knowing that while weeping may endure for a night, joy is coming in the morning, because the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Mary was (Edward Hill Sr.), my father's cousin. Mary was a legend in our household. My father, uncle and aunts ( George Hill, Rosa Hill Green and Louise Hill Thacker) spoke very lovingly and respectfully of Mary. I recall my first visit with Mary in her home and in her greenhouse as a child. She was so kind and gentle with me and I was impressed because she was an African American lady with her "own greenhouse". Most of all, I was fascinated by her recall of family history. I find it very comforting and a spiritual awakening that both my father who stepped into Glory in 2014 (100 years old) and my Aunt Louise in 2016(103) years old asked about their cousin Mary Wyche during their final month and fondly recalled how proud they were of her. They loved Mary. To be remembered in this way is a testimony of the love that our ancestors taught their children to have for family and friends and to who Mary was as a human being. My condolences are extended to all of Mary's family members and friends and with special thoughts of her sister. Yet, my heart rejoices as I think of the Peace that only God can bring....Even though I miss and long to speak with Mary again about the "old days". Godspeed and thank you, Cousin Mary for the precious memories.
