MOBILIA, CARMINO SR. 85, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 at his home in Cranston surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Louise (Zambarano) Mobilia. They were married for the past 61 years. Carmino was born in Providence a son of the late Giuseppe and Elvira (Rossi) Mobilia. Mr. Mobilia was a machinist at Federal Products for over 20 years; and was also a WW II Army veteran. Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving children, Joanne Pickering and her companion Michael of Warwick, Joseph Mobilia and his companion Cristina of CT, Lisa Christofaro and her companion Paul of Exeter and Carmino Mobilia, Jr. and his wife Mikyong of Cranston. He was also the cherished grandfather of Nicole, Daniel, Mark, Chiara, Marisa, Carmino "CJ" and dear brother of the late Vincent Mobilia and Frances Tomaselli. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday 4-8 pm. I am very sorry to hear the loss of my family's longtime neighbor. I was fortunate to grow up with all four of Carmino's wonderful children. I remember how he saved me when I got hurt in my backyard at 8 years old and came running to help. Everyone will miss him!
