It is very sad to hear of the passing of John. John's since of humor was enormous, but his heart, kindness and gentleness, were even bigger. You can't just say you liked John, If you knew him, you loved him. It has been a privilege to call him a friend for over forty years. Thanks for the memories John.

I knew John in the late 70s in Denver where he was stationed at Buckley Field and worked parttime for Safeway where I worked. We became fast friends and spent a lot of time together with our mutual friend Chris. The last time I saw John was in 1990 when I attended a writers convention in Providence. When my wife, Jean, and I visited him in 1982, he took us all over New England. That stands out as a special memory. Truly, he was a good man and a great friend.

RIP my friend.
I knew John as a co-worker in the PO since the 80's. It was always a pleasure working with him. A real professional. A veteran like myself. He was always respectful, considerate, and cheerful. I am thankful to have had the pleasure of knowing him. My deepest sympathies to his family.

I remember John as a gentle man who was always kind & thoughtful. I want to say "thank you, John, for your service to our country during the Vietnam War!" I never knew you went or I would have thanked you sooner.
Bless you & Rest In Peace ~
